Tanya Rosen-Jones grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area
and learned to love photography and natural light at an
early age.
Tanya studied photography and history at Oberlin College,
where she received her BA, and completed graduate work at the
University of California Berkeley and the Massachusetts
College of Art.
Tanya worked as a freelance photographer for many years, but
didn't find her true creative niche until she discovered
weddings. In her words: "the wedding day combines the kinetic elements of
emotion, family, tradition and history into one unique experience.
There is simply nothing else like it."
Tanya especially loves the historical
significance of her wedding work. "A wedding album is cherished forever and shared across generations," she notes. "This is especially important in today's digital age, where countless images are hastily stored on computers and never looked at again."
In addition to photographing weddings, Tanya serves as the Photography Lead at Blue Coda Design Studios and contributes her work to the majority of the firm's clients.
Tanya lives in the western suburbs of Boston with her husband and two sons.
